    The Fuel Counter is a passive instrument that powers and interfaces with the Electronics International FT-60 Fuel Flow Transducer.

    The Fuel Counter was designed for automotive endurance racing applications such as ChampCar, Lemons, Lucky Dog, etc. The fuel counter displays how much fuel has been pumped through the transducer(s). After installing the fuel counter, you should fill the tank as you would during a pit stop (most teams fill till overflow) and then pump the fuel out of the tank through the car’s fuel system. Record the number displayed on the fuel counter when the fuel pump starves. You have now determined the true “usable” fuel capacity of your car. Write this number on the dash. Throughout each stint you can use the fuel counter readout to estimate your fuel burn rate, optimize your pit strategy, and pit before you run out of gas. Forget the factory fuel gauge, the fuel counter can accurately determine fuel pumped through the transducer within 0.3 gallons (determined through on-track testing, 2 hour stints, 15 gallon tank, dual channel setup).

    All FC-60 fuel counters are dual channel. If your application is returnless, you only need one transducer.

    MagAir Helmet Air System

    Introducing the MagAir helmet forced-air system.

    Designed to be affordable, these 3d printed adapters allow endurance racing teams to add forced air cooling to every driver’s helmet at an affordable price. The magnet retention system allows for rapid driver changes and quick egress.

    The vehicle side components contain rare earth magnets. The magnets allow safe storage of the hose on the roof of most vehicles when not in use and during driver changes.

    The helmet side components contain mild steel bushings with a retention flange, ensuring disconnects are intentional. Side loads will not affect magnetic retention strength.
    Your expensive helmet air kit purchased from the helmet manufacturer will not be damaged. MagAir adapters attach via non-destructive and reversible methods.

    Options:
    Helmet Side:
    1. Stilo – This adapts from the Round ST5 helmet air kit to the MagAir system. Clamps onto the Helmet and is retained with two screws.
    2. Roux – This adapts from Roux Helmets oval helmet air kit to the MagAir system. Attaches via Heat/Friction
    3. Simpson – This adapts from Simpson Helmets round barbed air kit to the MagAir system. Requires drilling the factory rivet.

    Vehicle Side
    4. 1.5″ CCW Hose – Adapts from MagAir system to a 1.5″ Spiral Wound air hose. CCW is the most common winding direction. Left-Hand threads to tighten adapter into the hose.
    5. 1.5″ CW Hose – Adapts from MagAir system to a 1.5″ Spiral Wound air hose. CW is offered for the rare hose wound in the Right-Hand thread direction.
    6. 1″ Clamp Hose – Adapts from MagAir system to a 1″ bulb, allowing clamping of 1″ id hose to the adapter. Fits common Forced-Air system adapters.

  • Roux Helmet Forced Air Adapter

    Roux Helmet Forced Air Adapter

    3d Printed adapter to convert from the Roux helmet forced air (oval shape) to the round Stilo helmet shape.

    The Stilo helmet shape is compatible with many off-the-shelf .875 rubber boots allowing connection to an array of common forced air pumps.

    Sized for a compression fit. Simply heat the adapter with a heat gun or hair dryer and slip over the roux fitting. When cool, the adapter requires significant force to remove.

    This is the correct fitting needed to allow draining of your drink tube without removing the helmet’s quick disconnect fitting.

    After the race hook this up so your drink hose doesn’t stay full and get nasty between events.

    This is for my Stilo ST5 helmet integral drink kit, also tested on a SA2015 ROUX helmet with integral drink kit.
